mumble mumble mumble (drag of cigarette) mumble rock and roll mumble


I have been on this huge Keith Richards kick for the past few days. There is something so cool about this guy, he is PURE sex, drugs and rock and roll...even if he is saying that he is giving upthe alcohol. He is not like many rock stars who seem to have been drawn to a less excessive life style Keith has remained constant and I love that about him. Even with a marriage that has lasted longer than all of Mick Jaggers combined, (only kidding Mick)children, groupie tales, and bad press, he does not give up who he is. Rock is who he is not just what he is and what he does, he lives it every day of his life.
His style is all his own and his attitude is something that you would only expect from someone who has been in one of the most famous bands for most of his life. He has endured being in the spot light, on stage, back stage, on the road and on planes for so long that you would think people would be sick of seeing his face by now. But I guess the rest of the world is like me and can't get enough of this man who is made up of 90% rock and roll and 10% unknown illegal substance of some sort.

Robert Plant on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Happy, youthful and as humorus as ever. Those are probably the best words I have to describe the appearence of Robert Plant on Jimmy Fallon. Although it is not my favourite late night show to tune into, (I m more of a Jay Leno girl)I just knew that I had to watch tonights because my idol was on.

I was a little sad that he did not perform but excited at the same time because I love what he has to say. It was great to see him talk about the new album that is out today Tuesday the 14th!! Also to see the excitment on Jimmy Fallons face. You can tell that he is such a Plant fan because he was smiling and giddy the entire time.

The most amazing thing to me would have to be how Plant has not slowed down at at! He is still as vivacious as ever, it is fantastic.

I hope that all other Robert fans enjoyed it as well and are looking forward to finally being able to own the much waited record release!

001. I finally watched the documentary about the amazing guitarists The Edge, Jack White and my all time favourite, Jimmy Page called "It might get loud". It was great in my opinion! They did cut some stuff that I watched previously on youtube with Jimmy teaching the other two of how to play one of my favourite Zeppelin songs, kashmir. So this was a little bit disapointing to me. But over all I thought that they did a great job showing how how different each artist is in their approach to the music, but how much they all lived for what they do. If you have not seen it and you are a music fan like myself than I would for sure say to go see it!

002. I have two weeks until I leave and I am still very calm...weird.

003. I have grown very fond of Jack White after seeing the previously mentioned documentary. He is really freakishly good. I don't know why I never saw it before. I am really getting into his band The Raconteurs. I am also growing on The Black Crowes, I first realled liked them when I heard the record they released with Jimmy Page. I now I find myself searching for more songs my them.

004. I have been spending too much time on polyvore creating music inspired outfits, maybe i should post them on here just so I don't feel like it is such a waste of time. In fact that is what I think I will do after this blog post!

The reason I can never get anything done

We all need our excuses as to why we are not; doing your laundry, studying, replying to e-mails, exercising. For me this is one of my main excuses!

Trust me you do not want to watch these following clips if you are not wating to be distracted all day and lay awake at night wondering why you are not with this guy!

Oh Armani why do you taunt us mear mortals like this!

Now whoever can watch those and not drool, you amaze me.

I know I say that I am not a huge fan of sport stars and "buff" guys, but this man is seriously too hot for any catagory. He belongs to the elite groupe of people who transend beauty including:

That's so 70s

Just found these AMAZING 1970s Pierre Balmain sunglasses on etsy and they are seriously making me wish I was not in the process of saving my money. Damn you etsy and your amazing items!! They are from What the funk's etsy shop. How groovly cool is that name?

Can someone please buy them and lend them to me this fall? I am only sorta kidding on this...

WWRPD and other Golden God news


When I find myself over thinking situations or wondering what I sould do or even what I should wear I like to think to myself "what would Robert Plant do?". It seems that he always has all the answers to my daily delemas. Does anyone else have someone that they think of when they find themselves stuck in a certain thought or situation?

My WWRPD is now multiplied by the fact that his newest CD will be released soon so I can get my obcessed fingers on it and reval in its musical glory. The best news of my day so far must be the fact that the music off of this new CD has been released on the internet for all to hear!!

I think that I smell another Grammy for Mr. Plant. Everything is beautiful, his voice is always able to capture your mind and bring it into his own world. This album stocked full of amazing older music is no different.

In other Plant news, he will be on Jimmy Fallon on September 13th at 12:35am. I know what I will be doing at that time, i hope you all will join me! I would invite you over for a Robert Plant party but that just means I would have to clean and get snacks and beer together and I know that I am just too lazy for that haha.

I also just realized that he will be in Manchester on Halloween, and I have a week off around that same time. Maybe I can convince someone to get a cheap flight with me to England to catch the show!

I almost forget that along with tricking Jimmy Page into dating me and giving me a copy of his $700 book; do you think it would be at all possible for me to get him to buy me a couple of my most wanted fashion items? He could use the money from his book sales!

With the much anticipated release of the book by Jimmy page simply entitled "Jimmy Page" comes a not so anticipated price tag. at a little ove $700 american dollars one might expect this book to come packaged with a lock of jimmy's hair, or maybe a ticket for a romp in the sack? But unfortunatly for us Jimmy fans out there we are in no such luck.


I would just like to know the people who are going to be shelling out the cash for this 2,500 limited edition hand signed book? I certainly would if i could afford that! Let me tell you that the thought came across my Led Zeppelin crazed mind a few times when I saw the beauty of this item and the fact it would be hand signed. But alas I figured that it would not be the most wise purchase before I leave for europe for a year. And I will just have to settle for my nightly dreams and constant youtubeing of his performances. I do plan to own it in the future, even if it costs me a couple or more thousand by then...or maybe I will just track down this man of rock and groupie legend and seduce him with my lacking seducing skills and nieve qualities; after all we all know that he likes them young!


In other none Jimmy news

001. I won a CSN giveaway just like I was hoping for and now I can purchase mself a new carry-on without the use of my own actual money!!

002. Four words: Robert Plant in Concert! So sad that I will not see him, but I will make it a goal of mine to see him while I am in europe! The reviews that everyone is giving from seeing the shows make me beyond jealous. He is still rocking the crowed with the golden curls now with a hint of grey someone making him even more sexier. I am the worlds strangest 19 year old i know. I should love hunky young men but there is just something about the men of classic rock that I go groupie gaga over.

003. Had a great week with my father; full of chicken wings in the flavour of thai raspberry, movies, live music, beer, ribs, hikes, drives and staying up late to watch comedy central on television. Over all it was a fantastic time!

Germany update
I have less than a month, 21 days to be exact until I leave. I have my doctors appointment set up to go on the 20th, hair appointment needs to be booked still and figuring out what I will bring, well that will probably be a last minute thing because I change my mind so often that I never gave stuffed animals names growing up; seriously they were all names baby for my dolls or bear for my stuffed bears. I am excited and a little nervous of what to expect. I will be taking a German language course 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The family was wondering if i wanted to join a sports team, there is a baseball team there, i am terrible at baseball but who knows it could be fun hahaha. I still need to pick up a gift for the family even though they are saying that they don't want one, i also need to pick up a dr. seuss book for Marie (the little girl). But i don't think that my nerves will set in until the week before I leave because I feel a little too calm right now!
